Sycamore Speech Therapy is a growing therapist owned private practice in Senatobia, MS. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join the team on a full time, part time, or consistent PRN basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with pediatric clients to help them gain independence and improve quality of life. If you are a self starter, motivated, like to make your own hours, and have interest in a wide variety of pediatric therapy needs, this job is for you!
```Duties```
- Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, coordination, and sensory integration
- Teach patients adaptive techniques and strategies for daily activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises
```Qualifications```
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license and certification as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience in pediatric is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with other therapy disciplines
