Supplies Commercial Hardware
We are looking for an Estimator to prepare accurate estimates and/or purchasing the materials from estimates. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and managing relationships with key persons.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural plans and specifications for commercial door and hardware projects.
- Prepare accurate estimates and material takeoffs.
- Create and submit complete submittal packages for customer approval.
- Maintain organized project documentation and records.
- Communicate with vendors, project managers, and customers regarding project requirements.
- Track project changes and update estimates and submittals as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable working at a computer for most of the workday.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications is a plus.
- Experience in commercial doors, hardware, construction estimating, or a related field is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
