We are seeking a motivated and dependable Residential & Commercial Cleaner (Independent Contractor) to join our dynamic cleaning team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, upholstery maintenance, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Conduct outdoor work such as window washing, debris removal, and maintaining outdoor entryways when necessary
- Safely perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks for moving furniture or large equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by using appropriate janitorial supplies and equipment effectively
- Manage time efficiently to complete assigned jobs within scheduled windows while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial services; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning procedures and floor care techniques
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning, upholstery care, and laundry operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients
- Outdoor work experience is advantageous for tasks involving exterior maintenance or window washing
- Ability to manage multiple jobs independently while adhering to safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Must have your own professional cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Previous professional cleaning experience required.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, standing, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, honest, and punctual.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
