Job Title: High School Visual Arts Teacher

Position Summary
Lansing Christian School seeks a dedicated Christian educator to serve as our High School Visual Arts Teacher within a Christ-centered, liberal arts framework. In affirmation and alignment with the LCS mission, the teacher partners with Christian families, colleagues, and school leadership to educate students to the full extent of their God-given abilities. The visual arts program invites students to explore a variety of media, develop technical competence, and create work that honors God and enriches the world. This role requires a deep commitment to academic excellence, spiritual formation, and the development of the whole student intellectually, spiritually, socially, and physically.

Qualifications
- A clear, strong, personal commitment to Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s Doctrinal Statement and all policies.
- Commitment to the purpose of a Christ-centered liberal arts education model and the LCS mission and philosophy.
- Bachelor’s degree in visual arts education or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Experience teaching high school visual arts preferred.
- Teaching certification preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, administration, students, and families.
- A heart for mentoring, discipling, and shepherding students.
