Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide patient care, including monitoring health conditions and administering first aid when necessary.
- Support clients with meal preparation and cooking, ensuring dietary needs are met.
- Help with heavy lifting and mobility assistance as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage in meaningful conversation and activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Respect resident rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Offer direct support in hospice care or home health settings when needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or as a personal assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques is beneficial.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
