American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or acute care experience and night shift availability.

Med-Surg / PCU Step Down unit in a hospital setting

Placement will be on the unit with the greatest need, either a PCU or Med/Surg/Tele unit, based on the traveler's skills
-
Night shift: 7p–7:30a
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Floating required within skill set, both within the facility and to sites within 40 miles
-
13-week contract

Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA-issued)

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
-
Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or acute care experience required

Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Driver's license required for consideration

Two professional references required for consideration

Both Med-Surg RNs and Step Down RNs are eligible to apply, as credentialing requirements are the same for both skill sets

Local candidates are welcome to apply, though candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible at a different pay rate
