Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Grooming Salon Manager/Professional Groomer to lead our pet grooming team and deliver exceptional grooming services. This role combines hands-on grooming expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring every pet receives personalized care in a safe, clean, and friendly environment. Duties
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing for a variety of dog breeds and sizes.
- Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling appointments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
- Lead and motivate grooming staff by providing training, mentorship, and quality control to uphold high standards of pet care.
- Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures to ensure the safety of pets, clients, and staff.
- Assist with dog training activities or behavioral assessments as needed to support overall pet well-being.
- Maintain detailed records of grooming services provided, client preferences, and pet health considerations.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining grooming procedures, and recommending additional pet care services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional groomer with strong skills in pet grooming techniques for dogs of all breeds.
- Knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques, and pet care best practices.
- Experience in dog training or veterinary settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles enhances understanding of animal health needs.
- Ability to lift heavy pets safely and perform physical tasks associated with grooming duties.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $100.00 - $600.00 per week
