Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean bar area, and providing excellent service to our patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils, and keeping the bar stocked with necessary supplies.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly while adhering to food safety regulations and responsible serving guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tips.
- Assist with banquet services or catering events as required, demonstrating flexibility in various settings such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality while demonstrating knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Experience with retail math concepts is advantageous.
