Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in our Assisted Living Home. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is vital for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. This is a full-time, live-in position with designated day's off. We are primarily looking to hire a night caregiver to assist with residents who are awake and need help. There is a dedicated Caregiver bedroom to sleep during the day.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being.
- Monitor and record patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior
- Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely as needed.
- Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment for clients.
- Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the dignity of all clients.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience as a Certified Caregiver is required.
- Knowledge of ADLs and patient observation techniques.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is required
- Must have a fingerprint clearance card, negative TB test
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
- Ability to lift clients safely and perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.

Pay: $175.00 - $225.00 per day
