Bumble is looking for an Associate Manager, Social Media who lives and breathes social – someone deeply tapped into internet culture, excited to make content, and eager to build their creative instincts and career in social media and brand marketing.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Social Media, you’ll work closely with our Social Media Manager on the day-to-day execution of Bumble’s social presence across key platforms. You’ll help keep our channels active and culturally relevant by engaging with our community, attending events, spotting emerging trends, supporting social listening and reporting, publishing content, and jumping in to capture and create content yourself.
We’re looking for someone who is just as comfortable organizing a content calendar as they are picking up an iPhone to film—or stepping in front of the camera themselves. You don’t need to be an expert editor yet, but you should be excited to learn, experiment, and develop your content creation skills. This is an opportunity for someone early in their career to get hands-on experience across the social ecosystem while developing a strong creative and strategic point of view.
Support the Social Media Manager in creating platform-native content for Bumble across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Be comfortable getting in front of the camera and appearing in Bumble social content.
Capture social-first photo and video content on an iPhone at events, activations, shoots, around the office, and in everyday cultural moments.
Confidently approach and engage people to participate in social content when a concept calls for it.
Develop your instincts for strong social-first content, including hooks, framing, pacing, storytelling, and editing.
Edit short-form video using CapCut and other social-first tools, turning raw footage, creator content, UGC, and existing brand assets into engaging, platform-native content.
Experiment with platform features, trending formats, sounds, and editing styles, proactively pitching ideas that feel relevant to Bumble.
Edit short-form video using CapCut and other social-first tools, turning raw footage, creator content, UGC, and existing brand assets into engaging, platform-native content.
Contribute ideas during brainstorms and be willing to jump in and make the idea—not just identify the trend.
This role is based in New York, NY. We have a dynamic working environment, meaning we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all solution for where you work. We trust our people to choose the environment—remote or in-office—that’s most conducive to the task at hand.
This role will require travel and flexibility to attend events, activations, and cultural moments outside of traditional working hours, including some evenings and weekends, as well as occasional travel. While there will be typical desk work, this is a hands-on role that requires being out in the world—whether that means capturing content at an event, jumping on a timely moment, or getting around NYC during the day when content calls for it.

AI in Bumble Inc. Hiring
At Bumble, we may use AI tools to support parts of our recruitment process — such as helping us record, transcribe, and summarize conversations, and supporting job alignment by comparing resumes and job descriptions to highlight skills and potential roles that may be a good match.
