Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues in vehicles.
- Execute repairs on various systems including powertrain, alignments, and other mechanical components.
- Utilize schematics to understand vehicle systems and troubleshoot effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Test the functionality of parts and systems.
- Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts.
- Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals and experience.
- Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks and tire rotation.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair needs and status updates.
Qualifications

- Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and the ability to interpret schematics.
- Proficient in performing alignments and maintaining various mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
- ASE certifications required.
- May lift objects as much as 50 pounds.
- Prepared to get additional certification as needed
- Willingness to learn hands on training
- Help keep shop clean and organized.
- Maintain professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
