Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including order fulfillment, inventory control, and heavy equipment operation. Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, storing, and shipping products in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform tasks related to order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and loading products onto trucks or pallets.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting inventory levels and identifying discrepancies.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dock lifts, to move goods around the warehouse.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers to ensure that all products are properly secured and protected during transportation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.
- May drive company vehicle to various locations for pick-ups and deliveries as needed.
Skills:
- Proven experience in order fulfillment and inventory control.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and procedures.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
- Experience in managing inventory and ensuring that stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Warehouse experience
- Inventory control expertise
- Ability to operate heavy equipment
- Clean driving record and valid Driver's License.
- Forklift Certified Preferred but not required.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating warehouse activities
