Job Summary
Allegro Academy, a non-profit music conservatory, is seeking a passionate and dynamic Brass Instructor. Allegro instructors work with students of all ages and backgrounds to develop their technique, performance skills, and artistic expression. The mission of the Academy is to provide exceptional music education and performance experiences to all. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in our community through music education and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in weekly private lessons, tailoring lessons to the goals, skill set, and learning style of each student
- Teach sound instrumental technique, music theory, and performance skills
- Introduce students to diverse and engaging repertoire
- Prepare students for performance, auditions, and recitals as needed
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with Academy staff and instructors
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in music education or performance
- Strong background in an academic and performance environment
- Experience in private instruction with students of varying ages and skill levels
- Diverse knowledge and implementation of curricula and repertoire
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
