About the Role :
As a CBRE T&T Construction Supervisor, you willbe responsible for supervising the team responsible for onsite projectcoordination services.
This job is part of the ConstructionManagement function. They are responsible for ensuring all deliverables ofconstruction projects are completed on time.
This role is on-site at our client’s campusonsite five days a week in Indianapolis, IN. What You'll Do:
- Manage, plan, coordinate, schedule, andoversee the workload, deadlines, and day-to-day activities of the support teammembers to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Report to Team Lead required metrics.
- Oversee services for the assigned project orclient account.
- Provide project and administrative support tothe Project Management team.
- Manage key focus areas including scope,budget, schedule, quality, and risk management.
- Visit sites or offices as required ensuringthe team is assisting within general project management duties.
- Ensure that appropriate safety andenvironmental measures are being implemented and that the construction site isbeing maintained, clean, and safe.
- Assist with the procurement process for allnew suppliers and subcontractors requested by the team members.
- Set goals and objectives for the team andreview progress on a regular basis.
- Implement and monitor processes andprocedures to ensure that the team is performing efficiently and effectively.
- Resolve complex problems and identifyappropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.
- May establish new techniques to ensure theteam is able to meet its objectives.
- Have a direct impact on the team objectivesas well as the objectives of related teams.
- Ensure personal and team outcomes have apositive impact on customer objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that areconsistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basicknowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus. What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years ofjob-related experience.
- Prior shift leader or supervisory experiencepreferred.
- In-depth understanding of a range ofprocesses, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basicknowledge of related job functions required.
- Requires the ability to explain complexconcepts or sensitive information.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Officeproducts. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills with amaster-level inquisitive mindset.
- Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculatesophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
