BankStar is seeking an Agri Business Banker to join our team in Volga, SD. For nearly 100 years, BankStar has remained a family-owned community bank committed to serving South Dakota communities. We believe banking decisions should be made locally by people who know our customers, our communities, and agriculture.
In this role, you'll develop and manage relationships with farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness customers by providing customized lending and financial solutions. Responsibilities include business development, credit analysis, portfolio management, farm visits, and helping customers navigate lending programs such as FSA and Farmer Mac.
We're looking for a relationship-focused professional with 3-5+ years of agricultural lending experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping producers succeed. Experience analyzing agricultural financials and building customer relationships is essential. A degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
