Job description:
Job Title: District Manager – Commercial Cleaning
The District Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple cleaning accounts, ensuring service quality, managing staff performance, and driving operational efficiency across their assigned region. This role serves as the key link between ownership, clients, and frontline staff. Mostly Day Shift 9 am to 6 pm
Prior experience in Management a plus.
Must be able to drive a company car
Key Responsibilities Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations across multiple client locations
- Ensure all contracts are fulfilled to scope and quality standards
- Conduct routine site inspections and audits
- Resolve service issues quickly and professionally
- Some Nights and weekends
Staff Leadership & Development
- Hire, train, and supervise supervisors, leads, and frontline cleaners
- Hold team members accountable to performance expectations
- Coach and develop team leaders to improve retention and performance
- Manage scheduling, coverage, and call-offs
Client Relations
- Serve as primary contact for assigned accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Address concerns, complaints, and special requests
- Conduct regular client check-ins and walkthroughs
Quality Control
- Implement and enforce quality control systems
- Ensure consistency across all locations
- Monitor KPIs such as complaints, re-cleans, and inspection scores
Qualifications
- Management experience (cleaning industry preferred but not required)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Experience with scheduling, staffing, and budgeting
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites (Company Car)
Work Environment
- Combination of fieldwork and administrative duties
- Frequent travel between job sites
- Some evening or weekend work depending on accounts
