As an MRI Technologist, you'll play a critical role in helping physicians diagnose and monitor medical conditions through high-quality magnetic resonance imaging. What You'll Do:
- Perform MRI examinations with precision, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal image quality.
- Explain procedures and answer patient questions to create a positive experience.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot MRI equipment according to established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, MRI screening procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging records.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals to support outstanding patient care.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience-
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Two years of experience as a staff technologist preferred, but not required.
Certifications & Licensure-
- ARRT Certification required.
- MRI Certification required.
- Illinois State IEMA Certification required within six months of hire.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
