Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our healthcare leadership team. In this vital role, you will support the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing daily nursing operations, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to uphold best practices in clinical care, safety protocols, and patient satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and staff engagement
- Oversee budgeting processes related to nursing departments, including resource allocation and cost control measures
- Coordinate educational programs and training sessions to enhance staff skills and ensure compliance with accreditation standards
- Participate in management meetings to review performance metrics, address challenges, and set departmental goals
- Support management of regulatory compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and preparing for inspections or audits
Requirements
- Proven experience in nursing management or leadership roles within healthcare settings
- Strong background in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in education administration or coordinating training programs for healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes
- Prior university experience or teaching background is highly desirable to support staff development initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree or higher preferred

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
