Overview
As a Dry Cleaner at Tide Cleaners, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and pressing garments using industry-standard techniques and equipment while maintaining high-quality standards. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, knowledge of fabric care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Inspect garments for stains, damage, or special care needs prior to cleaning
· Identify appropriate cleaning method based on fabric type and garment label (dry cleaning, wet cleaning, or spot treatment)
· Operate dry cleaning machines, washers, dryers, steamers, and presses according to safety and manufacturer guidelines
· Pre-treat stains using appropriate chemicals and techniques
· Tag and track customer garments accurately to avoid mix-ups or lost items
· Conduct quality control checks to ensure all garments are cleaned and pressed to company standards
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
· Communicate with front desk staff or customers about special requests or garment conditions (if needed)
· Assist in organizing and preparing cleaned items for customer pick-up or delivery
· Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals
· Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be able to frequently lift up-to 30 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have Previous Dry-Cleaning experience
