We are a wholesale food distributor serving restaurants, grocery stores, schools and many more. We are seeking full-time and part-time employees to drive company vehicles and make deliveries. We are a team oriented, family owned and operated company looking for positive, goal driven team members.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Double checking orders for accuracy.
- Updating delivery/driver log.
- Follow vehicle maintenance schedule and safety.
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Communicating effectively with sales staff and customers.
- Hand truck and pallet jack operation.
- Occasional warehouse support.
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver, at least 2 years of experience.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High school degree.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Understand and follow written and verbal instruction/procedures.
Requirements
- Driver’s license (CDL manual endorsement required).
- Must possess a clean driving record, with no history of DUIs, moving violations, or other significant traffic offenses within the past three years.
- Possess reliable transportation.
- Be self-motivated.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Work well in supervised and unsupervised environments.
- Availability to work overtime.
