Position Summary
Ark Light Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter with a strong background in residential remodeling and light commercial construction. The ideal candidate is a skilled craftsman who can lead projects, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain high-quality workmanship, and represent our company professionally on every jobsite.
This is a hands-on leadership position requiring someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and can keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in residential construction, remodeling, and/or light commercial construction.
- Extensive experience with framing, finish carpentry, demolition, drywall, doors, windows, trim, and general remodeling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and construction documents.
- Experience leading crews and coordinating subcontractors.
- Strong understanding of residential building practices and jobsite safety.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Must own basic hand and power tools required for the position.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to employment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additions, kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, and tenant improvements.
- Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar construction management software.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
