OPS Security Group is seeking professional and customer-service-focused Enhanced Security Officers for a people-facing security role at 193 SOW site location. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle high-interaction environments while maintaining safety and security standards.
- Monitor property and report suspicious activity
- Perform ingress/egress and access control procedures
- Conduct walking patrols throughout the property
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
- Assist with resident intake and screening processes
- Support case managers during high-traffic periods
- Enforce curfew and facility policies
- De-escalate conflicts and maintain a professional presence
- Build positive rapport with residents, staff, and visitors
- Perform additional security duties as assigned
- Valid Delaware Red Card required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, concierge, or service industry experience preferred
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Basic computer knowledge (email, reports, Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and OPS training requirements
Candidates should meet at least one of the following:
- 4 years of armed security experience
- 3 years of military experience
- State or federally certified law enforcement academy training
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to wear a security uniform
- Ability to pass Physical Agility Test (PAT):
- 100-meter run in 66 seconds or less
- 30 push-ups
- 26 sit-ups
- CPR/AED/First Aid/BLS training preferred or ability to obtain
- Must maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Candidates cannot have previously worked at the Hope Center
