Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet and seat guests, manage reservations, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the POS system
- Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area
- Assist in coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally
- Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is mandatory minimum 1 year
- Must be be available to work every Friday and Saturday until end of September
- Shift are 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Additional shifts may be required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings is advantageous
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services
