We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant/Toddler Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for infants and toddlers across different classrooms as needed, ensuring each child's safety and well-being.
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities tailored to developmental stages.
- Support classroom teachers by helping implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote early childhood development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety protocols diligently.
- Engage children with stimulating activities that encourage exploration, socialization, and learning through play.
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members about children’s progress and needs.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and staff requirements to ensure seamless daily operations.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Ability to follow health guidelines related to infant and toddler care rigorously.
