Clarksville Medical Group (CMG) is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator. The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for welcoming our patients, visitors, medical care representatives, and other customers by greeting and directing them in a friendly, prompt, and caring manner.

Responsibilities and Daily Activities:
- Greet patients and visitors to CMG
- Check-in patients and assist with completion of patient registration as needed and notify appropriate medical staff of patient arrival
- Update patient tracking in Athena
- Verify and maintain accuracy of patient information entered in Athena
- Schedule patient appointments, and provide documentation as needed
- Collect copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and past due balances prior to patient being seen by care provider
- Reconcile daily receipts and money collected with end of day reports to confirm money balances and prepare deposit
- Scan documents
- Keep Front Desk, Reception Area neat/tidy and clean
- Report broken equipment, safety hazards, or concerns to Practice Administrator
- Maintain patient confidentiality as defined under HIPAA
- Prepare for next day forms, filing, pens, clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administrator
Requirements
- Previous two years of experience working in a medical office setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of Athena EMR is a plus.
- Bilingual is a PLUS!
