Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage table settings, bussing, and sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards in line with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and basic kitchen support when needed to ensure smooth service flow
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and maximize seating capacity
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips
- Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively atmosphere that supports both fine dining and nightclub environments
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving or host/hostess roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy shifts
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication skills for guest interactions and team collaboration
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting
- Experience working in fine dining establishments or nightclubs is preferred but not mandatory
