JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary responsibilities
- Follow direction of Foreman and Equipment Operators as to daily tasks and expectations for each project and jobsite
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Advise Foreman/Equipment Operators of any requirements for maintenace or repairs
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Practice workplace safety at all times
- Other duties may be assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Valid State of Idaho drivers license and satisfactory driving record
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Verifiable work history (at least 2 years in construction or similar)
- High school diploma or GED is desired but not required
- First Aid & CPR Certified is desired but not required
- Ability to effectively communicate with team, supervisors, vendors, clients, and general community

Working Conditions
Physical Demands
The Laborer has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling, shoveling and laboring for heavy equipment operators. The Laborer will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold. The Laborer must ensure that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way.
Environmental Conditions
The Laborer must work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heat. He/she may at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infection.
Sensory Demands

Mental Demands
The Laborer must work independently and is expected to maintain a schedule of work. Any problems or inconveniences may result in increased stress to complete tasks in a limited time.
