Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, and debris across construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, adherence to safety regulations, and mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth and efficient project progress. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale diverse projects.
Duties
- Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy construction machinery, including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, and water trucks in various construction environments.
- Transport construction equipment and materials to and from job sites.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance; perform minor repairs as needed.
- Assist with construction site tasks as needed.
- Follow detailed instructions for loading, unloading, and securing materials; maintain accurate logs of trips and material deliveries.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
- Full Time; Year-Round employment; 40-60 hours/week.
- All Local Work; Home every night.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record; experience operating dump trucks is essential.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving within the construction industry or similar heavy equipment operation roles.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, and paving equipment.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on trucks and machinery; basic troubleshooting skills are preferred.
- Skills in operating construction equipment are a plus.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
