About Pearl River Ambulance Corps
Since 1936, Pearl River Ambulance Corps has served the Pearl River community during the moments when our neighbors need us most. Founded by members of the Pearl River community and recognized as New York's first chartered volunteer ambulance corps, our organization has grown and changed with EMS while remaining grounded in the same principle: take care of the community and the people who call it home.
Today, we are building on that history by strengthening our combination of dedicated volunteers and paid EMS professionals. We are seeking EMTs who want more than simply a place to work a shift. We want providers who take pride in their patient care, their crew, their equipment, and the community they represent.
What EMS Means Here
EMS is not only about lights, sirens, and critical calls. Some days you may respond to a life-threatening emergency. Other days, the most important thing you do may be helping someone off the floor, reassuring a frightened family, caring for an elderly resident, or simply being the person someone can depend on during a difficult moment.
Every call deserves the same professionalism, compassion, and attention.
At Pearl River Ambulance Corps, we want our EMTs to remember that we are often meeting people on one of the worst, most uncertain, or most vulnerable days of their lives. The way we treat them matters.
