Position Overview
The Security Alarm Systems Technician performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of electronic security systems including:

Access Control Systems
-
CCTV Surveillance Systems
-
Intrusion Alarm Systems
-
Electronic Door Hardware
-
Monitoring and Detection Devices
This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Responsibilities

Install, maintain, repair, and test security systems hardware and software
-
Install and service CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, card readers, electronic locks, and related devices
-
Diagnose and repair system malfunctions
-
Test and inspect systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with standards
-
Perform emergency service repairs as needed
-
Install and relocate security equipment at customer sites
-
Maintain accurate service and installation records
-
Work with monitoring, alarm, and data circuits
Qualifications Required:

Experience installing and servicing security systems

Knowledge of:

CCTV Systems
-
Access Control Systems
-
Alarm Systems
-
Valid DCJS Electronic Security Technician Registration or eligibility to obtain one

Valid driver’s license
