Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations, including correspondence, scheduling, and supply procurement to ensure efficiency and organization.
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Perform bookkeeping duties including journal entries, account analysis, general ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to support financial integrity.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections while maintaining precise records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage payroll processing with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist with budgeting activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms; familiarity with technical accounting concepts is a plus.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, and budgeting processes will set candidates apart.
