3rd Shift
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Administrative
- Monitor attendance and vacation of Maintenance Associates
- Edit weekly payroll
- Schedule/Coordinate required training and recertification based on associate responsibilities
- Help LTH attain its goals in Quality, Safety, Service and Cost
- Coordinate PM activities for all machinery/equipment, track activities and costs
- Maintains records and files as needed to document and control maintenance activities
Leadership
- Foster/Build teamwork between shifts and other departments
- Improve employee skills through the development of a training program
- Schedule daily & weekly work assignments for maintenance personnel
- Follow up to ensure all work is completed correctly and in a timely manner
- Monitor and maintain 5S standards (fixed locations, cleanliness, etc.)
- Maintain organization of Maintenance Department Area and any other area where work is in progress
- Practice good management principles and adhere to established best practices in directing, reviewing, disciplining and motivating employees
- Plans schedules in maintenance and repair of facilities, systems, equipment and machines. Directs ongoing maintenance of equipment, machines and maintenance of buildings and grounds
Technical
- Ability to perform work requiring knowledge of electrical: wiring specifications, local and national electrical codes, principles of operation and application of electronic equipment as required
- Ability to upgrade controls and program PLC’s is desired
- Ability to service manufacturing and test equipment by checking, testing and replacing faulty components
- Ability to service and repair hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and electrical equipment
Safety
- Work closely with Safety manager to develop new and improve existing safety practice
- Insure all maintenance associates are properly trained
- Engage employees to drive further safety enhancements/improvements
- Insure safe working practices are followed
Minimum qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing background
- Extensive knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic and mechanical systems
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics
- Must be able to troubleshoot machine controls and PLC’s
- Must be able to lift, push or move a minimum of 60 pounds
- Good math skills
- Facility Maintenance experience
- Towmotor license, or able to secure license within 2 weeks
- Must be a self-starter (not requiring constant direction or follow-up) and are capable problem-solvers
- Must demonstrate positive leadership and the ability to train others
- Must have basic computer skills; use of MS Office Products
- Flexibility with regard to work schedule as this role may require early arrival and late departure above and beyond “normal” shift times
- Must have good communication skills on all levels
- Must be able to work with outside vendors
- Must be able to work within a specified budget & write purchase orders
- Must be able to manage/prioritize multiple projects/daily issues simultaneously
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.25 - $30.75 per hour

License/Certification:
