Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and nursing facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients through personalized care plans, attentive monitoring, and compassionate support. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration and monitor vital signs in accordance with care plans
- Support patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, or memory care needs through specialized techniques and patience
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities while adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior to healthcare professionals promptly
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and assist with transfers safely
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities when required
- Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures to ensure client safety at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, or group home settings preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
- Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s/dementia, or other cognitive impairments is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
- Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor essential for working with diverse populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards required
- Valid driver’s license may be preferred for transportation duties
- Flexibility to work various shifts depending on client needs
