Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within hotel guest rooms. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise all designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Change bed linens, towels, and organise supplies as needed
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and polished to high standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests courteously and efficiently
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning or deep cleans when required
Experience
- Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Skills in cooking are considered a valuable addition but are not essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Experience working in hospitality environments or similar settings is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
