Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Star Swiss CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating Star Swiss-type CNC machines to produce high-quality, precision components that meet blueprint and customer specifications.
The ideal candidate has experience with Swiss-type CNC machines, strong blueprint reading skills, and hands-on experience using precision measuring equipment. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Star Swiss CNC lathe machines.
- Produce high-quality precision components according to print specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Make tool offsets and minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Use micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, and other precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts consistently meet quality standards.
- Identify dimensional or quality issues and make appropriate adjustments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience operating Star Swiss-type CNC machines preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to make tool offsets and minor machine adjustments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.

What We're Looking For
We are looking for a quality-focused, mechanically inclined individual who takes pride in their work. The right candidate will be able to read a print, properly measure parts, make necessary machine adjustments, and consistently produce precision components that meet specifications.
Training will be provided on 1st Shift before transitioning to the permanent 2nd Shift schedule.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
