As we scale nationally, we are looking for an experienced and well-connected sales leader to own and drive our growth across the largest personal injury markets in the country.
Role Overview
As National Sales Director, you will be responsible for building and leading Float Group's national sales presence across key personal injury markets including Florida, Texas, California, New York, Illinois, and beyond. This is a player/coach role — you will carry your own book of business while recruiting, developing, and managing a growing team of regional Healthcare Sales Representatives. You are a seasoned relationship builder with deep roots in the personal injury ecosystem, a proven track record of opening doors at scale, and the leadership instincts to build a high-performing team around you.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Building
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a national team of Healthcare Sales Representatives across priority PI markets
- Set clear performance expectations, coach representatives on relationship-building strategies, and hold the team accountable to pipeline and introduction targets
- Build a repeatable, scalable sales playbook tailored to the personal injury healthcare space
- Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and Float Group's Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams
Sales & Business Development
- Leverage your existing network of personal injury healthcare providers, law firms, and industry contacts to generate introductions and drive pipeline at the national level
- Identify and prioritize high-value markets and accounts for direct outreach and team deployment
- Personally own and close strategic accounts in key markets while supporting representatives through their own pipelines
- Represent Float Group at national and regional personal injury conferences, networking events, and industry associations
- Collaborate with marketing to develop territory-specific campaigns, messaging, and outreach strategies
Strategy & Reporting
- Define and execute a national sales strategy aligned with Float Group's growth objectives
- Track and report on team performance, pipeline health, and revenue metrics on a regular basis
- Provide leadership with market intelligence, competitive insights, and feedback from the field
- Continuously refine targeting, messaging, and sales processes based on real-world results
Qualifications
- An established, active network within the personal injury ecosystem — providers, clinics, law firms, or adjacent industries — is essential
- 5 or more years of sales or business development experience in personal injury, healthcare, medical services, or legal technology
- Demonstrated experience building or managing a sales team, even informally
- Deep familiarity with personal injury medical workflows, lien-based care, or medical billing is a strong plus
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-growing startup environment where processes are still being built
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across national markets
