Overview: We are currently seeking a Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. Duties: - Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning - Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas - Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed - Clean and sanitize surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and maintain hygiene standards - Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required - Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines - Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel - Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness and safety Experience: - Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred - Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus - Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods We offer competitive pay rates.
