About the Role
As a Data Center Technical Training Specialist, you will spearhead the development and delivery of critical infrastructure training programs. You will empower technical teams by translating complex low-voltage and structured cabling standards into actionable, high-impact learning experiences that drive operational excellence in mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities-
Design and facilitate comprehensive training on low-voltage electrical systems, including fiber and copper infrastructure.

Instruct personnel on industry-standard structured cabling techniques such as routing, dressing, labeling, and termination (CAT5e/6/6A).

Demonstrate proper installation and maintenance of data center pathways, ladder trays, racks, and cabinet systems.

Implement rigorous safety protocols to ensure technician proficiency when working within live, high-stakes data center environments.

Develop and maintain diverse training assets, including SOPs, digital modules, job aids, and hands-on simulations.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate technical content against TIA/EIA and BICSI methodology.

Conduct performance assessments and coaching sessions to track skill progression and ensure consistent quality standards.

Analyze training metrics and feedback to continuously refine curriculum effectiveness and operational compliance.
Qualifications-
2+ years of hands-on experience with structured cabling and low-voltage electrical systems.

Minimum of 1 year of direct experience working within a data center or critical facility environment.

Proficiency in cable termination, splicing, and testing equipment.

Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA safety standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or educational field.

Previous experience in a leadership or mentorship capacity.

Active Journeyman’s License or relevant industry certifications.

Experience with instructional design or formal corporate training delivery.
