Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech and language abilities for pediatric patients, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental communication disorders.

Evaluate and assess communication across multiple domains including speech sound production, receptive and expressive language, voice, fluency, social communication/pragmatics, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) needs.

Administer and interpret standardized assessments as well as informal and dynamic assessment measures.

Conduct AAC evaluations, determine appropriate communication systems, and support implementation of speech-generating devices when appropriate.

Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient needs.

Provide high-quality speech and language therapy focused on improving functional communication skills.

Conduct re-evaluations and progress monitoring to measure patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Provide education and training to parents and caregivers to support carryover of communication strategies in the home environment.

Collaborate with and educate ABA staff and team members to support implementation and carryover of communication strategies throughout daily programming.

Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including evaluation reports, treatment notes, progress reports, and re-evaluation reports.

Demonstrate strong report writing skills, including the ability to clearly interpret assessment results, justify medical necessity, and communicate recommendations effectively to families, team members, and funding sources.

This position is based in a multidisciplinary ABA center serving children with developmental and communication needs. The SLP will work closely with BCBAs, RBTs, and families in a dynamic, child-centered environment focused on functional communication, meaningful progress, and collaborative care.
