As an entry level Microbiology Technician, you will be responsible for performing all phases of Microbiological testing for Quality Control puposes.
Responsibilities: Endotoxin testing, Aerobic plate counts on products; bulk & raw materials, Environmental Monitoring, Weekly water testing, Auditing of proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment, Able to prepare all media necessary for testing, Proper documentation of all test samples, Monitoring & recording of all equipment temperatures, Proper operation and maintenance of the autoclave, Maintain all records, Managing laboratory supplies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree - preferably in Science, Biology and/or Microbiology course work
Ability to manage multiple projects at one & prioritize appropriately
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
Must be able to communicate problems as they arise and feel comfortable working with all departments.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office.
Ability to work in a change oriented, fast paced environment.
Strong, consistent and reliable attention to detail
Ability to work independently

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
