We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our customers. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, steering, brakes, suspension, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
- Execute wheel alignments and perform wheel balancing to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other critical parts following manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
- Assist with auto estimating procedures by accurately assessing vehicle conditions and recommending necessary repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience or extensive background as a certified automotive technician is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and engine repair.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation and the use of diagnostic software to troubleshoot modern vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and other automotive repair tools.
- Service technician experience working on GM vehicles as well as foreign vehicles or similar brands is advantageous.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues quickly.
