Duties
- Receive incoming grocery shipments using pallet jacks, hand trucks and uboats.
- Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists using our custom operating system (ECRS)
- Inspect deliveries for quality, damage, and expiration dates to ensure only the best products reach our shelves
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated storage areas following proper warehouse distribution procedures
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks securely while adhering to safety protocols for load & unload operations
- Maintain detailed records of inbound/outbound shipments, inventory levels, and stock movements in our store software
Skills
- Proven experience in grocery operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles within a retail or e-commerce environment
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy loads safely and standing for extended periods as well as breaking down and restacking pallets as required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate stock levels and documentation
