General Description:
- As a Technician you will assist in the performance of routine construction monitoring, field and/or laboratory tests. You will prepare and transport samples and reports, and perform non-technical functions and office tasks under close supervision of higher level technicians or supervisors.
Essential Tasks
- Assist with sampling or testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and other materials as directed.
- Support field and/or laboratory personnel as needed to complete tasks.
- Transports equipment, specimens or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and provides physical assistance in equipment set-up.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area.
- Assists other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks.
- You will be expected to retain the information shown and explained to you so that you may become a self sufficient employee and continue to grow with our company.
- Support our client's quality policies and procedures; maintain the quality of your work and the quality of our client in the highest regard with each task you perform.
- Adhere to our client's safety policies and procedures and encourage the improvement of these policies by your participation in near miss and safety audit programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 10 – 60 lbs. and work outside for extended periods of time
- This is a HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION JOB - must be okay working construction and have inclination and basic construction know-how
- Capacity to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to work weekends as needed

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
