We seek a dependable Warehouse Order Selector for our All-Thread Rod and other fastener products that we manufacture. The hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
You will operate warehouse equipment such as a Saw and a Forklift. To be successful at the job, you must always be on time and able to work long hours on your feet.
You must be physically strong and able to “pick up” on small details.
We also expect you to be “picky” when ensuring the quality of orders.
Responsibilities:
Receive and check incoming pick tickets
Locate products using technology (RF scanner gun)
Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc., ensuring accuracy
Build pallets with orders and position them on loading docks
Wrap orders before loading on trucks
Re-stock inventory with warehouse equipment
Process completed orders – label finished material.
Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
Follow health & safety policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
Experience as an order picker or other warehouse position
Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
Experience using RF devices
Able to read and write in English
Great attention to detail
Hardworking and punctual
Good physical strength and stamina – Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
