Mechanical Design Engineer (Automotive)
RKTunes is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in automotive product development to help design and develop high-performance aftermarket parts. The ideal candidate is proficient in CAD software (such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360), understands manufacturing processes, and can take products from concept through production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automotive components using CAD.
- Create production-ready 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Prototype, test, and refine new products.
- Collaborate with our team to improve existing products and develop new solutions.
- Work with manufacturers to ensure designs are optimized for production.
Qualifications:
- Experience with mechanical design and CAD software.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, or 3D printing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Automotive performance or motorsports experience is preferred but not required.
