CNC Machinist II
Location: St. Joseph, MI Area
Compensation: $20-$26/hr + Shift Premium (paid for 40 hours while working only 36 hours)
Schedule: Friday-Sunday, shift ends at 6:00 PM

Growing precision manufacturing company seeking a CNC Machinist II to operate multi-axis CNC equipment producing components for highly regulated industries including aerospace, medical, defense, and industrial applications.

- Operate CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and GD&T requirements
- Use measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers
- Monitor machine performance and identify quality concerns
- Troubleshoot production and machining issues
- Perform inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with production and quality teams
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining or CNC machine operation experience
- Experience with CNC lathes, Swiss-style machines, Mill/Turn equipment, or similar CNC machinery preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools
- Reliable work history and strong work ethic
- Aerospace, medical, defense, or precision manufacturing environments
- Setup and troubleshooting experience
