Description:
Classification: Non-exempt This position will be paid on an hourly basis, bi-weekly, for all hours worked and is considered non-exempt from overtime. Overtime premium pay is paid to non-exempt employees.
Position Summary: Responsible for direct client care, reporting to the Operations Manager / Shift Supervisor.
Tasks / Responsibilities (To include, but not limited to)
- Follow Windward Way Recovery’s policies, procedures, and protocols
- Transports clients safely to various doctor appointments and off-site meetings.
- Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes.
- Organizes and uploads documents to client files. (if applicable)
- Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards as well as all infection control protocols.
- Drug tests clients according to Windward Way’s Waived Testing procedures and timeline.
- Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to appropriate area or person.
- Follows up with chore checks, helps clients comply with contracts, communicates to clinical any issues.
- Organizes Windward Way’s cleaning supplies and materials.
- Makes copies of printed materials as needed.
- Follows Windward Way’s Medication Observation policy.
- Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients (i.e.: 30 minute/1-hour rounds, vitals or COWS/CIWA, group sessions)
- Inspects Windward Way vehicles upon shift change with previous Treatment Tech members.
- Must complete new admit intakes and gather any information needed
- Competent in auditing face-to-face rounds if applicable
- Dependability - completes assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
- Attendance and Punctuality – promptly on time for work, assignments and meetings. Notifies supervisor prior to lateness or absence, understands excess absences pose a hardship for other employees.

Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Must pass mandatory health, drug screen, and background check.

Has had a tuberculosis (TB) test 60 days prior to hire or at minimum 7 days after employment.

Has CPR / First Aid certifications

Must maintain timely renewal for all required certification: Bi-Annual CPR, annual TB testing

Must provide driving record report if assigned driving responsibilities
