Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, preparing HVAC equipment and parts for installation and service, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. Your mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and ability to interpret schematics will be essential in supporting our HVAC, refrigeration, and property maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies within the warehouse setting
- Prepare materials for delivery or job site installation, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Assist with equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Maintain detailed records of inventory levels, equipment repairs, and service logs
- Support field technicians by providing necessary parts and tools for HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents to facilitate accurate assembly and repairs
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely to move heavy items around the warehouse
- Conduct routine maintenance on warehouse tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- 2 or more years experience in HVAC service technician roles or related field service positions is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, plumbing, refrigeration systems—including ammonia refrigeration—and boiler operation
- Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance tasks, and property upkeep
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles required
- Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and mechanical components
- Experience working with field service teams in fast-paced environments requiring quick problem-solving skills
