Part-Time Sales & Marketing Assistant

Wood Mountain Christmas Trees is seeking a permanent, flexible part-time Sales &
Marketing Assistant to support our growing Christmas tree, wreath, and greenery
fundraising programs. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys seasonal business
cycles, building relationships, supporting customers, and helping schools, teams,
churches, booster clubs, and community organizations run successful fundraisers.
This role will work closely with the Director of Operations and CEO and will support both
sales and marketing efforts throughout the year. The position is part-time, with
approximately 15–30 hours per week on average. Hours may vary based on the season
and business needs, with additional availability needed during our busiest fundraising
and delivery periods. Days and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities
Support sales outreach to prospective and returning fundraising groups, including
schools, teams, churches, booster clubs, and community organizations
Make warm and cold calls, follow up with leads, and maintain relationships with
fundraising partners
Provide friendly, professional customer service by phone and email
Assist with email marketing, newsletters, social media content, and customer
communications
Help organize and track sales leads, customer information, follow-ups, timelines,
and seasonal updates
Support the Director of Operations and CEO with administrative, sales,
marketing, and customer service tasks
Represent Wood Mountain professionally in phone calls, emails, and occasional
face-to-face meetings
Assist with various projects as business needs change throughout the year
Qualifications
Sales, customer service, or marketing experience preferred
Experience with email marketing and social media marketing strongly preferred
Comfortable making phone calls, including warm and cold outreach
Excellent phone and email etiquette
Strong communication and people skills
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
Comfortable working in a seasonal business with changing priorities
Able to stay calm, professional, and organized during busy seasonal periods
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
Basic computer skills required; experience with CRM systems, email platforms,
or social media tools is a plus
Schedule
This is a permanent flexible part-time position. The typical schedule is expected to be
approximately 15–30 hours per week, with hours varying depending on the season and
business needs. The ideal candidate will have flexibility throughout the year and
understand that our Christmas tree fundraising business has both slower planning
periods and very busy seasonal periods.
Specific workdays and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Compensation
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
