Position Summary
Phox Health is seeking a dependable, organized, and quick-thinking Dispatcher to support our Atlanta, Georgia market. This is a hybrid position, with most daily responsibilities handled remotely. However, the role does require flexibility to report on-site to the sort center as needed and, in urgent situations, assist with emergency deliveries, recoveries, or field support.
The Dispatcher will play a key role in supporting daily operations, including STAT and ad hoc dispatching, pharmacy route coordination, driver communication, client support, and service issue resolution. This position reports directly to the market Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch STAT and ad hoc delivery requests through Phox Health’s proprietary logistics system.
- Monitor active deliveries and support timely completion of service requests.
- Build, coordinate, and manage daily routes across the greater Atlanta market.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day regarding routes, pickups, deliveries, delays, and service updates.
- Provide driver support and help troubleshoot route or delivery issues in real time.
- Respond to client requests professionally and promptly.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager on daily market needs, escalations, and service performance.
- Assist with problem-solving when deliveries are delayed, missed, misrouted, or require recovery.
- Support sort center operations on-site when needed.
- Assist with emergency deliveries or recoveries when necessary to maintain business continuity.
- Maintain clear communication through Slack, phone, email, and other company systems.
- Multitask across dispatch, client communication, driver support, and operational follow-up.
Qualifications
- Prior dispatch, logistics, courier, transportation, or operations experience preferred.
- Experience using dispatching, routing, or logistics software preferred.
- Familiarity with Slack, Microsoft Office, and VoIP phone systems preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable working independently in a mostly remote environment.
- Must be reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of the greater Atlanta area is strongly preferred.

- Must reside in or near the Atlanta, Georgia area.
- Must have a reliable laptop or computer.
- Must have a smartphone.
- Must have strong and reliable internet service.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing and able to travel to the sort center or assist in the field when needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to complete applicable background screening requirements.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role. Most dispatch and administrative duties may be completed remotely, but this is not a fully remote position. The Dispatcher must be available to report on-site to the sort center as needed and provide field support in emergency situations.
